NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW OR REGULATION. PARTICIPANTS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

The Independence Blue Cross Philadelphia Union Player Appearance Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on August 30, 2023, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 6, 2023 (“Sweepstakes Period”). Independence’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

Sponsored by Independence Blue Cross, 1901 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 (“Independence”).

1. Eligibility: Independence Blue Cross (Independence) Philadelphia Union “Play with a Pro” Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Delaware who live within a seventy-five (75)-mile radius from Subaru Park, 2501 Seaport Drive, Chester, PA 19013, and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. To be eligible, entrants must be affiliated (team member, player relative or guardian, coach, or volunteer) with a youth soccer team (U19 and under) and submit a team or player photo as verification as required in the entry form.

Officers, directors, and employees, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, children, grandparents, step-parent, step-sibling, step-children and step-grandparent regardless of where they reside) and household members (whether or not related) of each such officer, director, or employee of Independence, Pennsylvania Professional Soccer LLC (“Philadelphia Union”), Keystone Sports & Entertainment, Major League Soccer, LLC (“MLS”), or Soccer United Marketing, LLC (“SUM”) and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate or win a prize. Void where prohibited.

2. Entry: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit ibx.wishpond.com/playwithapro2023 and submit the entry form to receive one (1) entry on behalf of a team. Participation is limited to one (1) entry per day. Entrants are required to complete the full entry form, including submission of a team name and photo. The photo should depict the youth soccer team/player(s) participating in a team event, practice, game, or official team photo (single player or group). Entrant warrants that the parents/guardians of any minors depicted in said photographs have consented to Entrant sharing the photo with Independence.

By entering this Sweepstakes, you will be registered to receive marketing emails and other offers from Independence and Philadelphia Union. By entering this Sweepstakes, you understand that you are providing your information to Independence and the prize partners and not to Meta or X.

3. Winner Determination, Notification: Independence will randomly select two (2) winners.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by email. If a prize notification is returned as undeliverable or if a potential winner does not respond to notification within five (5) calendar days of the date of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected, at Independence’s sole discretion.

4. Prizes: Independence will award two (2) prize packages to two (2) unique winners (teams) consisting of the following:

A Philadelphia Union player appearance (player to be determined by the Philadelphia Union based upon availability) at the winner’s (team’s) soccer practice or training event, on a mutually agreed upon date, to be arranged between the winner and the Union. The appearance shall last 1-2 hours (as mutually agreed upon by the winner and the Union) and must take place before October 21, 2023. Practice or team event for player appearance must be held at a public location – e.g., public park, school, or league facility, within a 30-mile radius of Subaru Park.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $2000

Each winner is responsible for all travel to and from the location(s) of his/her prize experience, unless otherwise noted. Actual value of a prize may vary slightly. Independence is not responsible for any difference between the actual value of a prize and the listed ARV or any changes made to the prize(s) by Independence or the prize vendor. Each member of the winning youth soccer teams selected for the Play with a Pro experience (players and coaches) must sign liability/publicity releases in order to participate, with signed liability/publicity release from parent or legal ward for those under the age of 18. Independence and/or the Philadelphia Union reserve the right to change dates of the prize experience if needed due to player availability. Winners and guest(s) must comply with rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize. Winners and guests accept all risks associated with participating in prize activities. Winners and their guest(s) may be photographed, videotaped or otherwise recorded by Independence and/or the Philadelphia Union while participating in prize-related activities (collectively, "Footage"). Footage will be owned by Independence who has the right, but not the obligation, to use, edit, adapt, post, stream, copy, exploit, license, sell and distribute the Footage and all elements thereof, including any names and likenesses embodied therein, on its websites and in any and all media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world, in perpetuity, for advertising, promotional, trade and other purposes with no additional notification or compensation to, or permission of, the winner(s), guest(s) or any third party. By submitting an entry and/or claiming a prize, such entrant agrees that his/her name and likeness and those of any of his/her guests may be included in the Footage, at Independence’s sole discretion. Each winner agrees to and will help Independence retain necessary releases (as applicable) from his/her guests if requested by Independence to do so. Any guest who does not sign a release form will not be able to participate in the prize experience. Prizes are awarded “as is” without any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Independence. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, if any, as well as any expenses and other costs incurred in claiming or using a prize, including without limitation, any travel or accommodations associated with attending the prize experiences, unless otherwise noted. No substitutions, transfers, assignments or cash equivalent of a prize (or portion thereof) are permitted except at Independence’s sole discretion. Independence reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value or cancel a prize at any time. All prize details are at Independence’s sole discretion.

5. Release: Except where prohibited by law, each winner will be required to complete, sign and return an Eligibility/Ownership/Liability Release and Publicity Release (the “Release”). Release must be returned to and received by Independence within five (5) calendar days from the date on the prize notification letter or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected, at Independence’s sole discretion.

6. General: Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Independence, which are final and binding in all respects. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants expressly acknowledge that these Official Rules have been drafted in the English language, and that any translation prepared for any reason will be of no legal effect and the English version of these Official Rules shall govern any dispute. By participating, entrant releases Independence, Philadelphia Union, MLS, SUM and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any injury, death, loss, tax liability or damage of any kind arising from entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes, or resulting from entrant’s acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prizes (or portion thereof), including any activity or travel related thereto. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes and signifies a winner’s consent to Independence and/or its agents use of such winner’s entry, name, email address, city and state of residence, location, and/or likeness for promotional purposes in any media now existing or hereinafter devised, without any additional notification or compensation to, or review or approval from such winner or any third party. Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) lost, late, incomplete, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, garbled, or inaccurate entries; (2) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information; (3) any human error, technical malfunctions, or lost-delayed data transmission; (4) any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, or software; or (5) inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction. Independence reserves the right to: (i) disqualify from this or any Sweepstakes it sponsors, now or in the future, any person it finds, at its sole discretion, has intentionally violated these Official Rules, tampered with the entry process, the operation of the Sweepstakes or website, or any other aspect of this Sweepstakes; and (ii) cancel, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes in its entirety should tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper play of the Sweepstakes or for any reason. In the event that the Sweepstakes is terminated, Independence reserves the right to select the winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to such termination event. 7. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS; AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, INDEPENDENCE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK ANY AND ALL REMEDIES AVAILABLE FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR OTHER PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING SEEKING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

8. Disputes: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Independence in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Pennsylvania without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Pennsylvania or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Pennsylvania.
